Welcome to the Alec Ure & Associates website. Alec Ure & Associates (“AU&A”) offers consultancy services to employers, trustees, administrators, pension providers and their advisers on a wide range of pensions issues and in a number of other specialised areas. Alec Ure worked closely with legal, actuarial and accountancy advisers to pensions schemes, and their trustees and sponsoring employers, for over thirty-five years with the Inland Revenue, Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow and finally Gissings, before setting up his own business in December 2003. He is also an established author of pensions and taxation books and other related work. AU&A originally brought together Alec Ure and Cyberbis (IT and Technical Support Specialists). Throughout 2005; 2006 and 2007 we expanded to assemble an experienced team of associates able to cover most aspects of pensions provision and administration and formed joint-working links with key professional firms. Our Associates page gives pen-pictures, specialisms and contact details for all associates. We offer expertise on pensions and taxation, tax simplification (“A-Day”), DWP requirements, scheme reconstructions, European and international developments, drafting of pensions trust documentation and member literature and many other issues.
